Re: 1967 4x4

Welcome! Looks like a really good solid truck. If it doesn't have rust, that's most of the battle. The restore thing, depends what you want and what it needs. You can always drive and enjoy and just refurb things as you go. Or like a lot of us, blow it apart and spend 3 years wishing you were driving it.

Welcome from NC. I agree if it's driveable then enjoy. Any idea on what color you are going to paint it?

green with a white top would look spiffy. Enjoy your new truck before you make any long term choices. Bruce

Welcome! And that's one truck where I'll say paint that "so you can" enjoy it

I'd paint it and go over the mechanics, then d-r-i-v-e that thing. Get to details as you go. Maybe one day after you've enjoyed it for years you'll want to do a ground-up

What does the SPID say for color? You could always use the "I would like it the stock color" argument against mint green.

Well, I can say that it's the first time I've seen all of those colors used together on purpose...

Looks like a nice clean body though!

If it were me I would leave it the ugly colors and make it stupid powerful. If it's fast, who cares what it looks like?

Re: 1967 4x4

A different seat will give you more room. You can relocate the gas tank for another inch or two. You can collapse the steering shaft and slide the column down a couple inches for more room. If its a large original style steering wheel you can get a smaller one.
