70 Cab Swap to 67 Small window questions

I have a 70 SWB Step with a badly(did I say badly?) rusted cab which is rusted because the previous owner media blasted the cab and it was repainted without the drip rail being re-puttied. Unfortunately, I did not catch it when we bought the truck 16 years ago. That is a lot of rain water down the pillars and through the floor.

I have an almost perfect 67 small window cab as a replacement.

I know the parking brake and the foot pedals are different between the two. The 67 has a separate parking brake and foot pedals. I do not have the 67 parking brake, or foot pedals.

Would it be better to fit the 70 model parking brake and foot pedal assembly to the 67 cab, or acquire the 67 parking brake and foot pedal assembly?

Are there anymore differences between the cabs I have not found, or thought of?

Thanks

Re: 70 Cab Swap to 67 Small window questions

As far as fitment is concerned you have the only things addressed that would prevent a direct swap. Switching e - brakes is possible but would be totally at your discretion. It's a personal thing. You may want to search for more information about the e - brake swap.
