Broke my hazard switch
So I broke the little red hazard switch on my 1970 auto column. Rolled it around on a towel and I guess that was just too much for the old plastic.
Searching old posts, it sounds like you can't just replace the little red thing, you need an entire new signal switch too? And does that include the wiring harness that goes down the column? I'd be grateful if someone could tell me what I need and where to get it! I went through the LMC catalog, but maybe it's called something other than hazard or flasher.

Re: Broke my hazard switch
You are looking for a turn signal switch. I checked Classic Parts, LMC and Classic Industries catalogs with no luck. Here's one on eBay for a non-tilt column.

Re: Broke my hazard switch
Do those have the non-removable red knob?

Re: Broke my hazard switch
69chevytrucker - none of those have the correct flasher button do they? They appear to be the one you screw the little male threaded button into.
LMC does offer it FirstOwner69 - page 155. But their drawing doesn't indicate whether it has the right style button. So I think I'll grab the eBay one since the pic shows it.

Re: Broke my hazard switch
d6216 also lacks the button and uses a straight, rather than crescent shaped, connector.
