Big block fan shroud notch
My truck has a notch in the fan shroud on the driver's side where the upper rad hose crosses it. I cannot tell if this was original or if the original owner cut it for clearance.
With the NAPA replacement hose it indeed would need the notch if you're not careful. I managed to slide the rad end out on the spout and cut some length off at the thermostat so I have an inch clearance and don't need the notch. So, did they have a notch from the factory?

Re: Big block fan shroud notch
Mine doesn't appear to be notched. The hose doesn't even come near it.
