help with truck

I have the oppurtunity to buy a 49-51 truck, that orginally a grain truck. The body is in excellent shape, and i even got it running with the orginal 6cyl, and everything seems to work.

Is it possible for me to take the body and place it on a newer truck's frame (maybe a 69-87 4X4 frame)?

Thanks for any help

David

I always hear everyone say an S-10 frame works ... but I wouldn't know. My 54 has the original frame with a FatMan Mustang II IFS.

Check with some local hot rod gorups........
