new to forum
hi guys I am new to this forum thing but I think I could really use your help. I am starting to gut out the whole cab and start to restore everything inside. there is a lot of old dirt, grease etc. inside has anyone found a great way to clean it all out. I don't have the money to have it sand blasted. I was just going to go through and clean everything by hand and sand anything I need to. I think this is how I can show pictures of it.

Get to work! Wire brush, degreasers, tooth brushes, shop vac etc.

Stuff like Simple Green, a whole bunch of rags, scrub brush, and elbow grease.

Welcome. Looks like you have a good start. Scotch brite pads work well for cleaning and scuffing prior to painting parts.

first let me welcome you to the forum from Texas, like said above lots of el bow grease is good , simple green works real good , I like full strength and let it set a while...good luck on your truck.

soap and water baby! haha I am in a similar situation right now and I am going to douse things with some simple green and hose her out!
Also good old SOS pads may take some time but they work wonders. I just got done doing my whole entire ceiling inside my cab that had some surface speckling looks way better now. |
