12 bolt differentials
Question...are the earlier model 67-70 rear ends narrower than the later 71-72 models? I think I had heard this somewhere? If so does anyone know the length differences?

The 67-69's are narrower than the 71-'72's...The '70 models could be either...I guess it depends on the production date on the '70's or something like that. The newer/wider ones are 1.5" wider. 62.25" vs. 63.75" I believe...

Beetle i just responded in my sale add too I gave the actual axle length nlped is talking the overall housing.
