Re: Lmc seat beats
LMC, Brothers, and most vendors carry the same ones (looks like a globe sticker on the retractor button)

Re: Lmc seat beats
the seat belts are the last thing I need to put my 70 on the road. I had green belts and need to switch to black.

Re: Lmc seat beats
Does it fit good between the seat and door jamb?

Re: Lmc seat beats
I will post some pics, but it'll have to wait till I get home this afternoon. Color matches well, i just wish they had a more "classic" look and feel to them. My truck had the aircraft style buckles originally, too cool but they wont work with the three points.

Re: Lmc seat beats
I've been worried about that myself. I have a six year old and I know they are suppoed to be in a booster seat until they are 4 foot 9 inches. A booster seat isn't really going to do any good without a sholder strap (that's the whole purpose of a booster to position the sholder strap correctly). I've been trying to figure out what to do with the belts.

Re: Lmc seat beats
Question for those who have installed new belts.
I have a full set of belts, including new center lap belts, on order. My truck has a stock bench seat that move forward some but does not fold down (or I don't know how to do it if it does) and the usual in cab gas tank. How difficult is it to get to the bolts behind the seat for the center belt and the short sides of the shoulder belts? Does the seat need to be removed? Thanks in advance.

Re: Lmc seat beats
Take the seat out and give the truck a good vacuuming. I had some rust from water intrusion from my back window. I took the opportunity to address that when I put belts in from here:
http://www.morrisclassicconcepts.com/seatbelts.html Expensive(can you put a price on safety?)but bolt right in with "zero" mods or clunky brackets. |
