15" 5-lug wheels - FREE
I was given 2 15" wheels from board member 88ironduke a few weeks back, intending to use them as rollers for my 1950 3100 project, and then realized that the bolt pattern I need was different than what these wheels have. These are from a 1972 C10 and have 5 x 5" pattern. I shot them with white Rustoleum to clean them up. The tires are rollers - I had to use Fix-A-Flat to get one to hold air, but it holds air now.
I am now offering them to any other board member in the area who may have a use for them. Local pickup only - near Exit 4 of NJTP, 1/2 mile from the Moorestown Mall, and 3 miles the Betsy Ross and Tacony/Palmyra bridges. Last edited by MidLifer; 06-13-2014 at 09:14 AM. Reason: changed year |

I wish I was closer. I have two and need two more for rollers on my '67. I gave mine away!

Re: 15" 5-lug wheels - FREE
Anybody want these before I scrap them? I will remove the tires and ship the wheels to you for the price of shipping.
I also have 4 16" 6-bolt rollers of unknown vintage from my other project. They came on my 1950 3100 but are not the original rims. They are one-piece, straight but rusty. You can see pics of them (on the truck) at: https://plus.google.com/photos/11025...CM7a2JaTl-PoPw Same deal on the other wheels. You pay the ride or pick them up and they are yours. They go to scrap on Friday if they aren't claimed by then. Last edited by MidLifer; 07-20-2014 at 01:04 PM. Reason: added text to post |

Re: 15" 5-lug wheels - FREE
I took a stab at guessing a weight (40 lb) and it looks like it's gonna be $30 UPS ground.
If that works for you I'll get the tires off and box them up. |

Re: 15" 5-lug wheels - FREE
OK will let you know. Just FYI both valves are cut and I never did get the one tire to hold air.
88ironduke should still have the other two but they might still be on the truck, why don't you PM him. He's not far away from me. If you really want them let me know because I'd rather not have to hassle with removing the tires and shipping them if I have someone local that can use them. |

Re: 15" 5-lug wheels - FREE
I just pulled the other two rims off my truck this weekend. I'm hunting for a single steel rally rim to use a spare.
In the mean time I've got two to donate to the fold and make a full set again. They are rollers in name only. Technically they hold air and a vehicle at the same time. If anyone in the NJ area has a rally to get rid look me up. The other two can go to some one who needs them for their project. 88Ironduke

Re: 15" 5-lug wheels - FREE
I have a 70 c10 it has 5 lug. They look to be 5" but 4.75 is so close i could be wrong. These wheels will clear a disc brake set up right? I know you are calling them rollers but i would be using them for real are they ok?

Re: 15" 5-lug wheels - FREE
If its a stock C-10 then it will be 5 on 5 unless really modified it. That thought makes no sense.... As for the tires service life... Eh... it ran out 10 years ago. For use only to push around in the garage. Road use is out of the question. Midlifer will tell you, they are pretty old and worn. But the they hold air!
The truck they came off of is a 72' with disc brakes so you should be fine. 88Ironduke

Re: 15" 5-lug wheels - FREE
Hey guys I cant break the beads off these tires with the tools I have. I think since we have a local brother, hanly2, who needs all 4, we should let them go to him. 88ironduke and I live about 10 minutes apart and about an hour from Gibbstown. So Paul if you are ready to part with your 2, I say thats the way to go.
