4 speed Manual/no more Granny Gear

Has anyone swapped out the speed manual in a 70 blazer for a true 4 speed without the Granny Gear?

Re: 4 speed Manual/no more Granny Gear

I haven't done that swap on a '70 Blazer, but I think Advance Adapters makes a kit to adapt a Muncie "car style" transmission to your NP205 Transfer case.

Another option is an NV4500 5 speed. Some of these had "granny" gears, some did not, but all have overdrive.

Either way, you will need to adapt to your transfer case or use a different one to retain the 4WD capability.

BTW......Nice Blazer and welcome to the site!
