What is this Bracket?
It's on the passenger side of a 65.
On the frame just above the motor mount stand.

Looks like part of an engine lift stop bracket. Is there one on the drivers side??

do a search on engine stop lifts or engine lift stops. you will find some threads on them..

^Yeah, I think at some time someone had the motor out, and put that bracket back on the wrong side.

That looks to me like the clutch bellcrank bracket on the frame on the '67-'72's

I understand that, but to my knowledge it is not original to that truck. Someone has put it there for some reason.
