1993 transmission
I have a chevy 1500 4x4 z71. I have looked and am unable to determine what trans comes in the trucks. its a automatic right now I have 1 2 and r. when it first acted up I had only 3 and 4 gears. I replaced my filter and fluid and the 2 cheap shifting sensors to see if that would give me my gears back it didn't. so I found a 1997 4l60e trans and was wondering if that would work in my truck? and if so can my transfer case bolt right up as its a 2wd trans? I am also working out a no start issue non of my spark plugs are sparking have new cap and wheel any help will be great!

Re: 1993 transmission
It's a 4L60e. Sounds like the 3-4 clutches are burned up (common problem)
I think '93 and '94 will interchange. The case is similar between 2WD and 4WD. However, a 2WD would have to come apart to make it work with a 4WD
