Wanting to get one, but wondering what issues I will have with the stock upper supports do you need to use the factory 4 core supports and what if any issues with the bottom supports they do say it's a direct replacement and I noticed they do sell diff upper brackets has anyone.used.these I guess a guy could fab his old ones if.need be

Mine fit right in. I used the existing upper mounts and rubber without issue. I have their 1000hp unit, so I did have to make spacers to raise the uppers 1/2".

I was hoping to here that. I probably won't ever need their 1000 unit thou can you tell me any other accesories you ordered so I'm not placing 3 orders fittings and such and if you have any pics I'd appreciate it

You didn't say which rad you are considering. I'll assume a 4 row. The factory bottom supports fit with some fettling but I trashed the upper supports in favor of a piece of polished stainless.

Pretty cool Fitz did you make that stainless piece or buy it somewhere to my understanding some guys run the one piece chrome one for a Chevelle but not sure what year I wouldn't mind finding out it would probably be easier then our radiator brackets the one I'm looking at is part number 134-62058 from jegs for an automatic says it's a direct fit doesn't clarify if it's a 4 core or not but my little 350 should be fine for the street

We actually have one of sparkys radiators in our C10R truck. Let me take some pics of it tommorow and get it up here. No offense to be cool we've used their radiators in the past...but they are big money. When you can get an equal if not better unit from Sparky for less $$. Just sayin.

The local steel yard had a piece of 16 Ga left over...5 bucks, half an hour with a hole saw and a dimple die and there it is! If you try that route, stainless is VERY hard. It will take a carbide tipped hole saw to cut it but a 10 ton shop press will do the trick for the dimple die.
