Re: dantimdad's 66c10 budget resto mod
I finished welding the flatbed surround and got her all ground smooth. Should have the $ for the slats and bolts this weekend so I can actually finish all the metal work on the bed.
A question came up while working on it: What do I plan to about exhaust pipes? Good question! The exhaust that was on it was run outside the frame with good materials but looked horrible. I want to tuck it into the frame but I am worried about heating up the brake and fuel lines. I want them to be short and the tips to point down under the front part of the bed so I don't have run a bunch of pipe or really see the exhaust. Suggestions? I will post pics when my buddy emails them to me. My phone's camera is scratched too badly to use anymore. Steven
