Those molded cups on the headlight connectors...
The used harness I installed has them. The old harness did not. I like them and would like to retain them but evidently the shape of headlights changed along the line and the connectors will not fit my headlight bulbs.
The headlights in question are those Sylvania Extra Vision or something of that nature. Not the Silverstar and not regular halogen. I thought about making a jumper harness for each side but A. that looks redneck, and B. I see a potential for problems if that were to come loose with the lights on. Anyone else encountered this small but annoying issue? |

Yes, with the same new headlights. I just carefully trimmed the "cup" off of the connector. Been a few years with no issues.

You gotta trim it, unless you probably buy like $59 a piece headlights. I'd rather trim lol

The prongs on the headlights are shorter. I supposed you could solder longer prongs to the ones on each headlight.
