'58 project done

Wanted to thank everyone who gave me help on building this '58. Got a lot of help on the windows as well as various other things.
Took it to a local show this past weekend and scored a 1st place in the pre-'88 truck class and another for best interior. Here's some shots of the truck as well as my son and I with the trophies.
The owner was well pleased when I told him how it placed.

Those one-piece windows are a pain to install. Great job on the truck.

Ah, but the thing is, the truck doesn't belong to me. Once I get the wipers fixed it goes home to Texas and I'm on to the next one('54 5 window).

Now, if it was my wife's '54 Panel or my F-100, or even one of the Harleys, I'd never use the "D" word. Been around long enough to know better.

As for the beer...Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in a dusty glass, please.

Re: '58 project done

Nice job on the truck. It's got to be right if you are going to paint it black, and that one looks right.
Post some pics of the 54 panel and the F100, we love pics.

OK, here's pictures of my truck and my wife's. Bear in mind that like the cobbler's kids who go barefoot and the grocer's kids who go hungry, our trucks only get worked on when they don't run.

Don't have the travel trailer anymore. We upgraded to an '89 Sportscoach motor home.
