they did not put shocks on a 1-ton back then. 40 years ago they beleived shocks would not last six monthson a truck. shocks were not a state of the art item back then. i drove a 68 1-t0n dual wheels and a 69 1-ton single rear wheel for work and neither truck had shocks. i was sixteen years old in 69. old money.
