Bed interchange
Does anyone know the diference between 1955-1966 Short stepside beds. I know they call for a diferent wood kits, and the rear panel below the tailgate has a diferent part # at Mar-k, but If you take a complete bed from a 66 should it bolt right on a 55? Or would the rear mount holes need to be redrilled?

Re: Bed interchange
The one on my 57 is from a 61-2ish. As far as I could tell the original that came on the truck was identical to the one that is on it now. (Minus the rust of the original of course) The mount holes and all were the same.
