Idea for cab corners on interior
Here is a little idea I came up with for mounting speakers in the wasted cab corner space. Welded a couple of pieces of 1" angle iron to the body then fabed 16 gauge panels to attach with bolts. I had to cut a hole in the passenger side door jamb for a vent so I could put the nuts on the bolts. Next I will cut the holes for the speakers and carpet the whole shebang when done. I plan on filling the cavity behind the speakers with insulation bats and also will put Dynamat on all surfaces.

I just did kinda the same thing. I welded 1/2 inch 90 degree brackets to the same spot you welded the angle iron. I used a fender clip to be the nut. I decided to use plt wood to fill in the opening. Same plan with the Dynamat.
Looks good Dude

Yup, that does work. I've got a pair of old 2-way 5X7s mounted on 1/8" lauan and covered in fabric. Just used a small angle bracket screwed and countersunk in the door jamb. Added a small amp, a 12" sub in the center console and a pair of 1" dome tweeters in front. And a bunch of Cascade (Dynamat clone) for sound dampening. No buzz or rattle even when cranked up.
