It looks like you did a really good job cleaning it up considering you didn't take the entire front end apart.
Right now there is no through rust which is fortunate but the rust has set in and if you get to it right now you can reverse it all together.
It will take about 40 hours, you can pull the entire front end apart, restore it and put it back together, it would be worth the time and effort.
I think this is a great truck, I hope you decide to take it one step further and give the old girl a little more love.
