Engine Info - Does this sound correct?
I just finally checked my engine code
I have a 72 C20 with a build date of 10/71 My engine code is V1014TRJ Does this sound original?

It sounds right. Do you have the Protect-O-Plate? It shows the engine plant built date and suffix code. while not as exact as a VIN stamped block it does get you accurate to that one day's engine production.
