1968 Disc Brake Conversion

I own a 1968 Short Bed Stepside C10 and looking to upgrade the front brakes from drum to disc. I was looking for kits and stumbled upon this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/330946117099?redirect=mobile

Is this all I need to upgrade? I'm looking for a kit that won't require any customization or anything, just bolt on. Sorry if this has been covered before. Thanks!

Re: 1968 Disc Brake Conversion

Look just above this post in the FAQ section and the last one is the one on brakes. Everything you need to know before making a choice on what way to go is in there. Good reading.

Re: 1968 Disc Brake Conversion

Those spindles look used.
I would buy from a board vendor first,... or call www.earlyclassic.com.
You will also need a disc brake M/C and prop valve.
You will have to fabricate a few new brake lines.

The rotors in the ebay add are 6-lug and will only work with 1971 and later 6-lug "disc brake" wheels. (to clear the calipers)

Which board vendors would you recommend ordering through?
