Re: Project haulin' ass 2
I am going to start on the body work. I wanted the truck to run while I work on small stuff. I just wanted to enjoy it. I have the bed I am working on off the truck so i will have it ready before I put it on.

Monte the third gen was my first project. It's a 383 carbed setup. Went 10.60's on the foot brake with a 150 shot. It's a fun radical street car

Re: Project haulin' ass 2
BODY WORK!!! Who loves this. I've been beating and slide hammering for a few weeks after work. I got one section of the bed side straight. Epoxiy primer with ppg. Then the little bit of body filler. And high build on top. Now working on the top side

Re: Project haulin' ass 2
A few progress pictures. I have been just enjoying the truck and cruising it around. AC works great and no trouble so far. I am just working on some extra parts I have to be able to swap over later.

Re: Project haulin' ass 2
I got the interior cleaned up. It's going to have to ride with the seat cover for now.
I also peeled off a chuck of bond off the roof skin. Found a dent that someone tried to pull with screws then slapped filler over. Working it out slowly |
