Re: 1958 GMC Memorial Build
Truck went into powdercoating on Monday. Was told it would be ready for pickup next week.
I'll post pics when I have it back.

Sweet!!!! Like the change up in color choices.
For the body maybe do the grey with just the mint around the window wrap area???? really like the mint color.

Re: 1958 GMC Memorial Build
Thanks everyone! I really like how it is turning out.
ptc - I was a bit hesitant to pull the trigger and go with the mint green but so far very happy I did. It will be a while before I have to pick final paint colors. When the cab gets back on I plan on doing so more photoshop work to see what looks best. Thanks for the suggestion!

Re: 1958 GMC Memorial Build
Thanks again guys!
The air tank and compressors are mounted on Accuair's EXO Mount. It holds the compressors and valve manifold to the air tank and then the whole thing mounts to the truck's frame. The gas tank is a 55-59 Boyd Welding tank installed in reverse to allow the air tank and compressors to "hover" over it.

Re: 1958 GMC Memorial Build
Frame looks great!
What are your plans for exhaust manifolds/headers??

Re: 1958 GMC Memorial Build
Hey Chuck - Thanks!
Right now I am not sure what I will run for the headers. I was leaning towards modifying some exhaust manifolds but really would prefer some nice headers. Such a tight fit between the frame and engine, not sure what headers will fit.

Re: 1958 GMC Memorial Build
@greystoke - it sure does!
A bunch of other things came up recently which made it difficult to see this project moving forward in the near future. After a bit of discussion with my awesome wife, I got the go-ahead to get it driving. Such an amazing feeling! In about two months this ol' girl will be on the road! (If the snow is gone, lol)
