Re: Dale_Brown BT 72 SWB K10
Had to take the old girl to save this cab. It was heading to the scrap yard. Has the section over the windshield I need and great floors. It has very unusual rust in the lower passenger firewall.
Going to cut the roof off at the post and re-weld it to my other cab. Guess I need to fill my Argon bottle Sure get alot of thumbs up when driving the 72! |

Hi Dale! Welcome to the board. I'll be following along on your build. Looks like you have a good starting point since it's up and running.

Re: Dale_Brown BT 72 SWB K10
Can't say I do. I once lived up near Hagerstown and there are a few places up in that area where it is possible to still get items. Check in on the Maryland site for others in the area that could possibly help. I have 2 '69 units - one I use for home improvement and dump runs, the other is ready for the installation of a freshly overhauled 396BB. My issue is I don't have a garage or hard surfaces to work on it at my house.
I look forward to seeing your build and meeting you!

Bringing the build site back to life!
Just picked up the final drive line parts for the 4 speed swap. Thanks to the help I have received from the 67/72 board she will be coming apart this winter! |
