Re: My '54 3600 build
Getting some sanding done. The second pic is my inspiration truck. I'm going to add a little blue paint, but I think I'm close.

Re: My '54 3600 build
I would like to at some point. I'm actually down almost 4" from removing leaf springs, and lower profile tires.

Re: My '54 3600 build
I haven't found any cool old paperwork, or old door paintings in my truck. But I did keep these guys. I know I lost a couple little ones in the wind. Luckily none of them had any current residents.

Re: My '54 3600 build
Too stinkin' hot to work outside right now(108) so I did a little work on my parking brake. Got the handle from a buddy who was striping his 1970 something Chevy pickup. It's the type of handle that mounts to the bottom of the dash under the steering wheel.
Made a little bracket for it, and now I just need to bolt it in place, and run the cable under the cab with a small pulley so I can attach it to the main rod. Then build a center console around it. |

Re: My '54 3600 build
Just a few more little things to work on, and get glass.
But I'm in the home stretch. |

feels good to be on that home stretch. that thing is calling my name on an all bare metal truck, would like one someday.
