I am not sure if anyone makes them like that, but have you thought about getting some chrome bumper paint and painting them? Just a thought.

I don't know of any off hand. I do have an e-mail address at home of a place that specializes in chrome plating plastic (they do ALOT of LS1 plenums, covers, etc...) I'll post it when I get home tonight.

I looked around a lot for the single headlight system chrome and couldnt find them anywhere. You can find a chromer in your area that does plastic. I painted mine with an aluminum looking paint (not chrome) and it looks pretty good (better then the flat grey color).

Edit: My original (atleast I think they were) and the aftermarket bezels I bought were both all plastic and there was no chrome underneath, I checked.

before you guys run off and paint them, take one off... turn it over, and take some steel wool to it. The ones on my 82 were chrome under the grey paint. took a bit of work but looked nice.. even the stock grille was all chrome under the grey paint. the grill takes even longer but looks nice for a stock grille. Though most of youll go for aftermarket.

I'll give that a try. Do you have any pics of your completed work?

BTW: I went aftermarket on the grill b/c it was free.

Some of the 82-84s came with the chrome bezel but they chave a colored strip in the center like Prerunner1982. They don't look right with a billet grille or I would use them. Ive been trying to find some plastic primer so I can use the metalic "chrome" paint on it but am having trouble even finding plastic primer. It will definitly look better repained because one of my bezels has cracked paint.

LMC sells them in chrome (but they are the 82-84 style).

Don't know the type or where they came from. I got them at a swap meet and they fit so they stayed. They still don't work well for visibility...mainly just for looks.

I will completely remove them when the all the shaving and body work is done.
