Dropped spindles, 73-87 Susp. Best place? CPP or McGuaghys?

Ive been reading about some searious Fitment issues with CPP Spindles, and i really dont want to go through with that hassle of trying to send parts back.

Unless i can be convinced otherwise, is there a vendor on the board that sells them McG's for a good price?

just looking for some input, id rather support a vendor on this board.

I looked through the Vendor marketplace and all i see is CPP stuff.

i bought the cpp modulars and 13inch brakes to put on my 63 and no fitment issues. i did buy there upper arms and had the balljoints bind up. i also built the frame and modified my original x member to layout on 24s so there will be issues. i actually flipped the arms side to side and upside down. worked great

this isn't going to be anything that extreme. just the spindles and maybe the 2" springs. Stock brakes...

Summit Racing usually has free shipping.
I like Belltech spindles.
Make sure you get the correct 73-87 spindle. There are two choices when choosing 73-87 spindles.
1" rotors or 1-1/4" rotors.

The best deal I found on CPP spindles was at Summit Racing.

I have the CPP drop spindles on mine and fit fine. Summit has the best price and ships much faster than CPP. Summit also has the best price on the 6 lug rotors. Also check Brothers truck parts. They have a bunch of stuff on sale right now.

Having ordered several times from CPP, I can say you take a risk. My Chevelle parts all fit great. They sent the wrong or mis-drilled parts for the front end of my GMC and wouldn't admit they were wrong. In the end they did make it right and got all correctly matched parts.

I just got Mcgaughys 2.5" drop spindles and 2" drop springs from grunion_fabriction on eBay. Best prices I could find on the Mcgaughys stuff and free shipping (although some of their stuff is priced lower for the same item they charge shipping on that item which makes it equal.) I'm yet to install any of it, but from looking at it I am more than pleased with what I got.
