Standard Trans Floor
What is the difference between a standard transmission floorboard and an automatic? Isn't there a hump for the standard? If so, is there a company that sells a panel piece for it?

Re: Standard Trans Floor
there is a removable panel. I have one out of a 67, I am considering using it to make a floor shifter, I'll post a pic of it.

Re: Standard Trans Floor
You are talking about the high tunnel or hump that all big block trucks, 4 speed manual trucks, and 4X4s come with. So far they are not being reproduced. WES

Re: Standard Trans Floor
Some drivelines, like a four speed, used a high hump cover over the trans.
The stock tunnel was cut away and weld nuts were installed by the factory on trucks needing the clearance to bolt it to. Don't know of any aftermarket covers but they can often be found on the classifed sales board here. Just be advised the trans hole has different locations between L6 or any 4x4 applications and the V8 4x2 application.
