need some help!
ok guys, turning to ya'll once again. On my 69 c-10, when I got the truck it had no parking brake cables or anything related to it on the truck. I bought new cables when I did the rear brakes. So far I have figured out that I am missing the parking brake strut and spring. Where can i order one and does anybody have a picture that shows where the cable attaches inside the drum? I have searched online and it seems like evey picture that I find it does not show where the cable attaches to inside the drum assembly. Any and all help would be much appreciated.

Re: need some help!
The end of the cable hooks to a vertical arm that swings from the rear shoe. It is probably missing also. I have the whole set of those for a 61. I don't know if they are the same. The caseing snaps in the hole in the backing plate.

Maybe the pics in post #14 will help http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=443837 Not a C10 but I think they operate the same.

Re: need some help!
I can see the parts I need in that post, I just can't find them anywhere on the web to order from. I need the parking brake strut, strut spring, and the piece that the cable clips into. I just can't seem to find them on the net to order them. I knew I should have just done a disc swap when I rebuilt the drums!!
