Re: Project: GOOBER, 1971 GMC

Been pretty busy with life. We did make it to the Big Meat Run. It was a good time. Didn't have any problems. Only got a few pics. Then We made a few local runs and I've been using it on the farm cleaning up the fields from a flood we had. Then I had to get ready for harvest and help my buddy get his rig ready for Top Truck Challenge 2014 that we went to in California in June. I was his copilot. And We brought the trophy home! Then I had a son on September 30. That had been keeping us from going wheeling much this fall. But I heading out for a day run this Saturday. Hopefully I'll get some more pics.

Re: Project: GOOBER, 1971 GMC

I'm also in the early process of building me a family rig. That way I can carry 2 car seats, wife, and if they want to go, 2 15 year old boys. With front and rear AC and leather heated seats. 4 wheel steer on Axletech 4000 axles from a military MRAP truck. I'll be running the stock 5.3 v8 with a 4l60E, backed by a NP203-205 double transfer case setup.

This wouldn't happen to be "Feedtruck" that won on last night's Truck Night in America show is it? I was watching and thought to myself "I know that truck". Took me a while to dig out this build thread. If so, congratulations!

That is just too cool! Your truck is a beast and you drove it well. Looked like a blast!
