brand new leaf springs... how much?
What would a good price be for a set of brand new never used leaf springs for an 81-87 C10? It is a private party.

Re: brand new leaf springs... how much?
I was looking at a set of custom leaf springs and I was told $200 per corner. Now these were custom bent/built leafs.
For original springs, I would pay $50 per corner from a private seller, with no warranty. If you see it on a truck so you could accurately guage the amount of sag and the springs look in really good shape, I would pay $100 per corner. But for something removed from the truck and sitting on the bench, the price you pay is based on how much you trust the seller.

I had to put new rear springs on my 77 last spring. About 200 a side. There are lots of websites that list prices for these springs, so you could check those for a comparison.
