Re: Parting a 1972 cheyenne super truck and 72 cheyenne super cab

John, the in cab gas tank takes a brown wire, it goes under carpet/mat. I know I have one of those. I have a harness that goes from outside front of cab to the plug for rear taillight harness, I need to make sure its in good condition. I can check on it tomorrow night

Thanks Randy

Re: Parting a 1972 cheyenne super truck and 72 cheyenne super cab

Bonnieclyde100, guess I never have run into that before, you'd think out of 600 trucks I would have. I learn something new about these trucks every once and awhile. No worries though, one day I might run into one so now I will know

cfienen67, sorry none right now and yes v8 and 6 cyl stands are different. But I will have a set of V8 ones coming in on a truck Wed evening

Thanks Randy

Appreciate the help on the rear wiring harness. Just PM me tomorrow night if you have time to check. No big deal if it takes a few days to check it out. Thanks John

Is that a Quadrajet carb on the engine? Looking for the carb stud and wing nut where the air cleaner mounts. Looking for OEM like this or close to it.

Would appreciate it. My air cleaner comes back from powder coating this week and I lost my stud / wing nut.
