x2. I love a clean, matching original truck but you have a unique chance to pair these two 68's - I'd do the swap! A 50th K20 Custom Camper would look too cool.

The code of course will/should be stamped into rear axle. Location and codes are specific to the type of axle. But you could always look it up on the linked powertrain page. That lists the various powertrains with standard and as available the optional ratios. If you do not have a ratio shown on the SPID it is likely a standard ratio. Or you could always just look it up below. :-) However, as always, what a vehicle was built with may no longer be correct.
