I just found your thread. You are doing some fabulous work on your truck. It reminds me very much of my 64. I know your frustration on the cab rust. I have the opposite problem. My cab has top rot. The truck was from the pacific coast of Oregon and has ocean salt rot. I will probably do a complete top replacement in the future.

I got your PM. Keep up the great work.

Take care,
Tom
Thanks Tom. We'll be doing some business real soon.

Thanks Bruh..

Update... All the rust has been removed from the cab, BBW and high hump has been installed. Both doors has rust on the bottom, don't know if I want to fix or buy some aftermarkets. And the best news of all was I got a email from Porterbuilt that my front DM setup has been shipped.

Your work looks real nice, about the doors I would recommend fixing yours get inside door bottoms and you can get a new skin for it. Take a look in my thread and you can see how I did mine. And as far as a reproduction door lets just say I have a $500 piece of wall art. Your truck will be very nice when you are finished.

sub'd, looks like you are making great progress, truck looks awesome just the way you bought it, I get the feeling you are going to knock it out of the park, I especially love the 292 with the original AC, very cool

Look at your thread!!! I study on your thread, lol. You do some nice work and I wish I was closer to you so I could get some lessons. Yeah I plan on fixing my doors but right now I'm going back and forth on which direction to go on the rear.
