Sun visor mirror from a 68...

I bought a 68 a few weeks ago and going through some of the parts the guy had in the truck I cam across a sun visor behind the seat and it has a long mirror on it with chrome around it and it says CHEVROLET on it and in very good condition too. Are these hard to find or no.

I'm not positive, I'd need to see a picture, but it sounds like a GM vanity mirror. If in good shape, it's worth hanging on to.

The truck has the radio ant. mounted to the pass fender and over loads in the rear and sway bars front and rear too. I don't know how to post pics on here, buts its in very good condition no scratches at all on the mirror.

Instead of quick reply hit "Go Advanced" once you're in there, scroll down to "manage attachments" or the like. Hit browse and it'll take you to your computers hdd. You can't post pics from windows phones that I know of (I can't) but I have no clue about apple or Droid. Welcome to the 68 club

And were definatly going to need to see pics of that rear sway bar
I bought a 67 that im restoring now. It sat in a field for 12 years untouched. I found an old first-aid steel box full of tools and vanity mirror that said 'oldsmobile' on the glass

Re: Sun visor mirror from a 68...

Vanity mirror is most likely out of a same-vintage passenger car, as they were not considered truck options.
