manual tranny parts for sale
I've swapped the old 4-speed for a brand spankin' 700r4 and all the old parts are for sale.
CM 465 granny gear 4 speed-$200 or best offer clutch linkage, from pedal to clutch fork, fork is brand new since I broke the original and engine mounted pivot is also fairly new-$50 or best offer flywheel for a 400 crank (ie 383), nearly new, needs resufaced, $190 new-$100 or best offer clutch and pressure plate, less than 5,000 miles-$75 or best offer manual crossmember and auto crossmember-$25 each or best offer old bellhousing mount starter, always worked good for me-$20 or best offer 4 wheel drive leaf spring rear end, 3.08 non-posi-$125 or best offer I won't ship the rear or tranny but the rest is all plus shipping. I am driving from southwest North Dakota to Wichita, KS on or about the 4th of Jan with the whole load so I could arrange to meet someone to transfer parts etc. All these prices are kinda picked out of mid-air so let me know if I'm out of line. Thanks, Kurt

just to help out the trans is a SM 465 not a CM 465. i dont mean to sound like a smart a$$ but you may have more luck selling it with the right name. ask around the 4x4 forum because many off-roaders like both the sm465 and the sm420

actually, you were close the first time...they are "technically" CH465, but are always called SM465. I don't know why. Good luck selling it (i'm sure a potential buyer would know what it is, regardless) and TTT.

I'd love to have the sm 465. If I could only pick it up. Once again something that I need that is just too far away.

Do you have any pictures of 400 straight shift flywheel? What is the least you will take for the flywheel shipped? TN. 37891
Thanks Roger |

I don't have a pic of the flywheel but it has roughly 15,000 miles, never been resurfaced but would need it. shipping to you would be $15 so shipped say $90??? Let me know....

I just want to be sure it is for a 400 before i buy it. If it is I will take it. Does it have the weight on it?
Thanks Roger |

I'm not sure what weight you are talking about, but it doesn't have one....however, it is a balanced piece that i used on my 383 that has a 400 crank, and i just put a 400 flexplate on it. give me some info on the weight and i will look.

The 400 flex plate you are speaking of takes the place of the balancing weight. A 400 is externally balanced therfore has a weight on the flywheel. A 350 is internally balanced so it does not have a weight. 350 flywheels are a dime a dozen 400 hard to find. I have a 400 bolt on weight for a 350 flywheel but would rather have a 400 flywheel
