Temp sensor line through cab floor?

Working through my 67 c10. I noticed the temp sensor line was not connected to the temp sensor in the engine. The line is black and green and bundled together. I followed the line under the engine block, under the cab. Then it went through a hole in cab and was tied off.

I want to put a new temp sensor line in because my temperature gauge doesn't work. Do I have to run underneath the cab?

Re: Temp sensor line through cab floor?

No, you can run it through the firewall.
