two years ago I paid $2500 for a 59 with a V8. Didn't have a bed though. The truck was otherwise complete and body was in decent shape.

I think that price is way too high.

I just bought a 58 short fleet in pretty good shape for less than half of 10k
You can see it in the thread titled (my new 58 ) i'm no expert but 10k sounds like a lot to me
