Rear Axle Questions

I am working in refurbishing my '72 K10 and I am in need of some help with identifying my rear axle. The only numbers I can find are the ones pictured. It looks like it is obviously not the original axles since spring perches have been moved. Also wondering if the u bolt setup is right. I just ordered a skyjacker 2.5" soft ride. If not what would I need to correct and will I have any other issues with staying with this axle setup.
Thanks Nathan

Depends on where you are in Minnesota. But yes we have rust.

Re: Rear Axle Questions

I know it is a GM 12 bolt looking for answers on specifics. As stated above. By looking through threads the axle seems to be modify correctly.
Thanks Nathan

Re: Rear Axle Questions

Look on top of the passenger side axle tube for a stamping code.
