Re: Wtb:'68 gmc fenders
I have a pair of oem 68 fenders. They came off a Chevy. The ps needs the cup replaced. I believe there is one other small dent in it. The ds is nicer. I can post photos tomorrow if interested. I can also possibly get them to Newark, Tx. not too far from you. $150/ pair

Re: Wtb:'68 gmc fenders
Please post pics. My main concern is the old debate about the grille fitting or mounting properly between GMC and chevy fenders. I have heard from it doesn't matter to will not work. Everybody feel free to chime in. Thanks for your response.

Re: Wtb:'68 gmc fenders
A 1968 chevy fenders are the same as a 68-72 GMC fender.
('67 chevy and '67 GMC are the same minus the side marker light) 69-72 CHEVROLET fenders will not work on 67-72 GMC's.

Re: Wtb:'68 gmc fenders
Thanks Keith. That will help me broaden my search. Instead of trying to find the elusive NOS GMC fenders. Lol!

Re: Wtb:'68 gmc fenders
I redid a 71 gmc a few years ago and used repro fenders listed for 68 chevy or 68-72 GMC. They fit great. I just had to drill holes for the GMC "eyebrows".

Re: Wtb:'68 gmc fenders
No filler on either fender. P.O. Primed it. Not sure if he stripped old paint. One dent as seen in photo.

Passenger fenders are almost always in worse shape than drivers
