Re: 1971 GMC SWB "No Direction" LS build
Dropped off the 700r4 to be built yesterday and got a set of OEM 15" truck rallys to go on for the time being. Should have the drivetrain in and firing pretty soon. Have a few more bolts to buy but we're getting there.
On another note, I'm really torn on wheel choice. As of today, I'm thinking i might go with the gray AR Salt Flats. I really want a set of 20/22 Budnik Knife's but $3k is a little hard for me to swallow when i need to be looking at suspension and paint. As far as paint goes (at least today), I'm thinking hugger orange with a cream top and lower black molding. Paint is likely a year away but I'm hoping to get my wheel situation and suspension figured out by the end of March (bonus time!!!!). Anyway, I'm open to thoughts and wheel suggestions. I've considered all the traditional TT style cast wheels (i.e. Coys, Rdiler, Showwheels, etc) but I'm leaning toward something a little different. Bring on your suggestions!
