The Tin Man

Well I got a good deal on a 69 c10 with a 68 front clip and a 71 or 72 frame and since it’s a new year I gonna do a build thread.
This will keep me motivated to make progress on the truck. I’ll be working on pictures so stay tuned.
Low budget 350 low and mean.

Re: The Tin Man

Good luck, I'm going to follow along. I'm looking at doing the same thing so I can control and know what I'm buying and what the end result hopefully will be. I can buy a '67 one ton, 8 lug and a 72 swb frame. Cab and fenders are in great shape. The frame is a roller, power steering, front disc, rear end, no axles. I have a complete 5 lug conversion, axles, master cylinder, booster. I'll need a bed, wheels, motor, transmission. Everyone is trying to talk me out of it because I'll have to "farm out" the labor, but '67/8 in my price range are hard to find. Good luck.
