seat belts for 1965
I have some medium fawn seat belts out of a 66 that I need to replace the webbing on for my 65. I don't know if the color is right for 65 means how seat belts were optional in 65. I'm having a real problem finding webbing that even come close to the medium fawn. Has anyone run into this problem and what did you do. Was a medium fawn the right color for 65.

Re: seat belts for 1965
The factory seat belts in both my 66's are fawn, the optional belts in my 65 Suburban are black. I do not have any documentation showing it was ordered with belts, but I've always assumed that it was.

Re: seat belts for 1965
My suburban is a 65 as well and black would be great if that is correct. I am trying to restore it correctly. Is there any documentation that black is correct for 65 means how it was an option.

Re: seat belts for 1965
If someone has the accessories book for 65 it should tell you the color available. In 63 the seatbelts were the same as the rear passenger car with a variety of colors.

I bought my belts here: https://www.seatbeltplanet.com/ They have some colors that might work.
