On another note, I'm really torn on wheel choice. As of today, I'm thinking i might go with the gray AR Salt Flats. I really want a set of 20/22 Budnik Knife's but $3k is a little hard for me to swallow when i need to be looking at suspension and paint.

As far as paint goes (at least today), I'm thinking hugger orange with a cream top and lower black molding. Paint is likely a year away but I'm hoping to get my wheel situation and suspension figured out by the end of March (bonus time!!!!).

Anyway, I'm open to thoughts and wheel suggestions. I've considered all the traditional TT style cast wheels (i.e. Coys, Rdiler, Showwheels, etc) but I'm leaning toward something a little different. Bring on your suggestions!

Robbie, When I read this post I laughed... You sound as bad as me! I change my mind on what color I am going to paint my 71 on an hourly basis (I better figure it out quick since it's heading to paint in a couple weeks). Then when it comes to wheels for my Suburban, I am just as bad about making up my mind. I really like Intro wheels, especially the Holbrooks with a grey center but there is that whole $3k price again. Then there is the opinion part... I think the orange and white combo is one of my favorites on these trucks so you got my vote for the paint. For the wheels, I have two opinions, first off you should get what you want, it sounds simple but I have bought cheaper wheels before to save some $$$ but I always wished I would of bought the ones I wanted. Secondly, I am all about American made so that would be the other consideration, for me at least.

Soo......
