Does the lighted lighter require a different bezel?
I picked up an OEM lighted cig lighter assembly from a friend locally but I see in the LMC catalog, which also shows a lighted unit, that two different bezels were used.
I have no idea if the two different units are related to having a lighted lighter or not, but there's not a lot of room for light to shine through the one I have (admittedly have not tried yet, so that's just based on looking at it). a) So, does anyone know the deal on the two different bezels? Doesn't seem year-based in the catalog. b) Does anyone know the background story on these? I've never seen lighted lighter on a SPID. Optional? Sierra Grande only? Why do some have them and others not? Thanks! Dave

Re: Does the lighted lighter require a different bezel?
Dealer accessory (possible RPO?) with bezel the same as the non-lighted example.

Re: Does the lighted lighter require a different bezel?
I thought that a lighted lighter was a good idea too but, unfortunately that lighter that lmc sells is junk. Mine ended up in the trash and the original went back in. Don't waste your money.

Re: Does the lighted lighter require a different bezel?
Reread your post. Missed that you got an OEM one.

Re: Does the lighted lighter require a different bezel?
i dunno if this helps but this is the one I got from brothers and it's been working fine since I got it 6 months ago. It would not fit right without this chrome ring (bezel?) it is backlit when I have the headlights on. It came with the bezel.
