value of the truck
I have a 86 k20 it is a fairly clean truck and even though I do plan on keeping it forever we all know plans change and things get sold that we don't want to sell. It is completly stock under the hood emissions and everything. What would be worth more? Restoring the stock engine bay or putting a better rebuilt 350 in it? I'm talking 10-15 years down the line

Re: value of the truck
Its hard to say really,To me as long as you don't go insanely wild with upgrades you should hold a good resell value.

Re: value of the truck
I got my idea of redoing it from http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=451831
I know it'd never turn out that well but it looks damn good. And im sure that adds quite a bit of value more than a rebuilt engine but that is just me

Re: value of the truck
Depends how you build the truck really,You can go 100% stock looking inside and out.Or you can go with some taste full mods that make it better to drive and use.Being you already lifted it and bigger tires i would go with a beefy small block.
