Re: Overhaulin' - Seattle style
I'll have some pics up later for the 3rd row seats floor, haven't taken any yet. I bought the floor from the wreckers for $200 (brackets included) also included them cutting the floor out. They wouldn't let me do it for safety reasons. the rear upper shock mounts are part of the floor. it was kind messy so I use a cut off wheel to clean it up and cut to size. If you use a plasma cutter and make it as straight as possible it will make easier for later welding. I then bought some angle iron and welded that square, placed the floor piece in, welded that to the frame as clean as possible. I bolted the complete pan to the existing rear seatseat belt mounts (when tightening the bolts down you will pull the pan down off the your new frame if it isn't welded solid, use spacers where needed). for the front bolts that need to be mounted through the wood deck, I used a 6 X 6 1/4 plate underneath. most important is where you chose to place the seat if you use the exixting seat mount bolts, you don't want the lining up with you striker brackets where the suitcase seats lock in.
All in all, much quicker then trying to custom flush mounting the brackets and the pan with the wood floor. It will all be covered by carpet Al.

Re: Overhaulin' - Seattle style
forgot to mention, you will need to cut off some of the bottom side of the double wall floor pan for it to sit level.
