New member from Northern Michigan with new 1986

Hi all, I am a new member from northern Michigan. I just bought a 1986 Chevrolet Silverado standard bed 4x4. I bought the truck from Arizona and I am having it shipped home. I am chomping at the bit too get it here. Unfortunately it will take a couple weeks to get it here. Here are a few pics.

Looks nice.

Looks like it might be a Silverado package but with manual locks and windows. Kinda unusual.

Whereabouts in Arizona is the truck from? Phoenix? (Mesa, Chandler, Apache Junction, Tempe?)

Yes. Is there a website that tells all the different packages for older chevy trucks?

Re: New member from Northern Michigan with new 1986

Big Rapids isn't all that north (I spent 7 years in da UP, at Houghton!).

Seriously, welcome to the board from the other side of the state. My edest goes to Ferris so I get over there now and again. Beautiful area and the 4x4 will sure come in handy.

Best starting place is the service parts id label in the glove box.

4 years of school + the mandatory 1 year penalty for being stupid and not focusing for a while. No jobs at end of 5th year so refused to take my last class, instead worked on associates degrees, graduated at end of 6th with my engineering degree, no jobs, graduated with dual associates at the end of the 7th and then started my career.

Duaghter loves FSU, it was the right place for her.

Sorry about the thread derail. Do like the truck, wish I had one like it, need a new tow beast.
