I'm running the Boss 338 wheels on my c10 and the stock wheel suds are too short so I need longer ones.
I think my suspension is off a 72'. Size is 1/2-20.
Anyone know what diameter of a stock wheel stud is for front and rear?

Hint: Remove one stud and measure it the press in end is the critical measurement here

I have had guys mention to drill and upgrade to 7/16 if you are going to take the time to re-stud...

You can buy longer studs at NAPA are any other parts store. I have longer studs on the rear end because of the disc brakes I installed. 1/2 20 is the correct size though. I found this on google. It shows all the studs and wheel spec's.

How much more threads do you need? Unless it's excessive you can use the long reach lug nuts that give an extra 5/16" of thread engagement, that's about 6 more threads. A lot easier then changing studs.

7/16 isn't an upgrade from 1/2"

I had the same problem so I used wheel studs from a chevy Avalanche. They need to be slightly shaved right on top of the knurl but it worked. I had maybe 1/8 thread left to screw on the lug nuts. Now theres like half an inch

Not a bad idea...
Currently the studs are about 1/2 way through lug nut.
Having a hard time finding a 1/2-20 acorn deep reach.

You need to have at least 1 thread past the nut. I buy the long reach at the local swap meet, Gorrilla lug nuts sells them on line but they are much higher priced then what I can get them for at the swap meet.

Any good wheel store should have these lug nuts. Well at least around here they do. I have several places to buy them from. Custom wheels will require a long reach most of the time.

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
